Maui Surfer Girls Seek Surf Instructors & Summer Camp Assistants!

Help Wanted! Do you have a love of water sports, a great attitude and a ton of Aloha? If so, we are looking for some new additions to our team! We are seeking part time surf instructors (don’t need to be female, but must be OK with working with a primarily female, and entirely fun group), as well as helpers for our Teen Girls Summer Surf Camp (due to the nature of the camp, open to women only).

Job Descriptions:
Surf Instructor Position:
Must have confident ocean experience, exceptional customer service experience, teaching and team player skills. Good people and communication skills is a must. We value the “3-P’s” — Punctuality, Professionalism, and Pot-free. Must be current 1st Aid and CPR certified.
Van Driver Position:
Our overnight surf camp needs enthusiastic, energetic, and safe van drivers to drive our teen girls to their afternoon activities. It’s helpful to be a confident outdoor leader to help lead day hikes, snorkels, or beach trips. Must have a clean driving record in the last three years and experience driving 7-passenger minivans. Also necessary to be 25 or older.
Nurse Position:
On-site camp nurse to apply first aid when necessary, remind campers of taking their daily medicine if needed, and tend to any illness or incidents of staff or campers while at camp.
Kitchen Staff:
On-site kitchen staff to help wash dishes, replenish water jugs, aid head cook in meal preparations, cleaning of kitchen and dining hall.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
1-CAMP SURF INSTRUCTOR: Training begins immediately Position begins June 24-July 19, 2017 (must be 25 or older and female instructor for our teen girl camps)
2-PART-TIME SURF SCHOOL INSTRUCTORS (DURING HIGH SEASONS JUNE-AUGUST & NOV-JAN, MARCH-APRIL): Training begins immediately, Position begins June 1st.
2-VAN DRIVERS: Position begins June 24-July 19, 2017 (25 years older + female)
1-NURSE: Position begins June 24-July 19, 2017 (female ideally 25 older)
1-KITCHEN HELPER: Position begins June 24-July 19, 2017 (female)
