Fall Surf Camp 2017

Only ONE spot remains for our Fall women’s surf camp 2017, to be held at Camp Olowalu, Maui, Hawaii, from October 30 through November 4! This surf camp is open to women ages 21 and over, beginner and intermediate surfers, or even first timers! This will be our first Fall women’s camp, and the camp will include an optional side trip to visit Maui’s most popular annual event, Halloween in Lahaina (and possibly some costumed surfing!!!). This is our 4th and final surf women’s camp of 2017!

We already have campers between the ages of 22 and 58, from as close as Makawao (in upcountry Maui) to as far as New York and Canada! Their surf levels range from never having surfed before, to intermediate skills.

Kelly Potts (in a wig) will be one of the surf coaches for our Fall Surf Camp 2017!

Our professional surf coaching team, which at this camp will include Kelly Potts and Kiki Martins, will help campers progress their skills each day.

The all-inclusive camp includes oceanfront accommodations, professional surf coaching, a quiver of surfboards, three healthy meals a day, various activities around the island, airport transfers and a lifetime of friends and memories. The camp is designed similar to our teen girls camp, but with more flexibility in the schedule, and more focus on relaxation and rejuvenation. Besides surfing, activities may include snorkeling, hiking to waterfalls, yoga and massage. Whether you are coming with a group as a girlfriends’ getaway, or by yourself, this is a perfect setting to get back to nature and get back in touch with yourself. The all-inclusive camp costs $1,950 plus tax.

Kelly is excited for our Halloween camp!

Maui Surfer Girls builds life-long bonds through a community of strong female role models and has been recognized nationally for their signature surf camps and year-round surf lessons.

About Founder Dustin Tester
Raised on Maui, Dustin’s dad taught her how to surf when she was seven. She’s been a multi-sport water athlete ever since. She received her bachelor’s degree from Prescott College’s Wilderness Therapy Program. In the desert canyons of the San Juan River, Dustin got her inspiration for Maui Surfer Girls during her thesis project on creating a rite of passage for teenage girls. Dustin’s work with the Voyager Outward Bound School also fueled her passion for personal development through outdoor education. She’s taught hundreds of students about the stoke of surfing, and living aloha. Always adding to her bucket list, Dustin has skydived, tow surfed Jaws, written a book, surfed in Africa with elephants, taught Cher how to surf, and recently completed an Ironman. In her free time she enjoys skateboarding & surfing with her dog Luna.
