Lucy Woodward, our assistant director, loves the stretchy kind of tie-down straps. “If your surfer doesn’t have a kind like this yet, they will change their surf tie down experience.” After spending twelve consecutive summers at Maui Surfer Girls (starting as a camper when she was 14!) Lucy has tied down her share of boards!
For your significant other, here’s a wedding ring that they can wear in and out of the water, at the gym, and while participating in all their crazy adventures – QALO! Made from medical grade silicone, QALO rings provide a safe, functional alternative to the traditional metal wedding band. The founders explained their story of the birth of QALO: “After getting married we realized what a nuisance wearing our traditional wedding band was. While we love our wives, and love being married, the reality was that our ring was getting in the way (literally) of our active lifestyle. Every time we hit the gym, worked on the car, surfed, rock-climbed, you name it, our wedding band got in the way. We searched for a solution that would allow us to show our commitment of marriage, and wear a comfortable wedding band that could withstand our active lifestyle.” Big-wave surfer, bowhunter and QALO ambassador Shane Dorian shared: “Over a few years I lost, like, 10 wedding rings. So when my buddy gave me this ring I was just so pumped because it just fit my lifestyle. I never had to take it off again and I haven’t taken it off since.” Check out Shane’s video to hear more. The Outdoors Collection features these three colors and comes in a canvas bag stamped with compass.
Anyone looking for a little extra boost in the morning would appreciate one of the gift packs of the brand new Laird Superfoods! “Laird Hamilton‘s love for coffee was derived by the prerequisites of his dangerous sport where maintaining the highest level of focus is tantamount to surviving the ocean’s most dangerous conditions.” His new line of coffee, creamer, sweeteners, cocoa mix and more are available for individual or gift pack purchases.
