Hawaii Surf Camp : Maui Surfer Girls is the first all female surf camp in Hawaii. Since 2001, Maui Surfer Girls has been leading the surf camp industry in both surf instruction & providing well-round programming to empower teen girls both in and out of the water. Each summer, girls from around the world gather at our ocean-front facility, Camp Olowalu, to enjoy the warm waves that roll into Maui’s west shore. MSG is based out of Ukumehame Beach Park, “1000 Peaks” – a perfect wave for both 1st timers and intermediate longboarding.
In our 14th year, we had girls attend all the way from Switzerland, Canada, & Hong Kong. We also offered Maui residents a chance to attend with our scholarship fund through the Will Smith Foundation. It’s one of our missions to offer opportunities for deserving girls from Maui to meet girls from around the world and share in the joy of catching waves, while learning from each others diverse backgrounds.
