My partner and I did a surf lesson with Kelly and it was a blast! Having both surfed before, Kelly met us where we are at and gave us lots of awesome tips and helped us shift parts of our form to better suit the surf. She was super knowledgeable and fun! I would say it’s the best surf lesson I’ve had over the years— can’t wait to come back and do another one in the future. The whole experience was great.

Feeling so beyond lucky we found Maui Surfer Girls during our search for surfing lessons during our trip to Maui. The pre-surf land lesson truly set us up for success on the water and was an invaluable part of this experience. I have taken many surf instructions and have never learned most of the information taught during this! Then we hit the water! We did not stop smiling and laughing the entire time. Our instructor was fun, helpful, and truly passionate about teaching others the beauty of surfing. Me and 3 coworkers booked a group lesson. We had Raul for an instructor and he and the rest of the team were amazing. We were all first timers but with Raul’s patience and help all got to catch like 5 waves and everyone got up multiple times. Great way for kids to learn how to surf

I cannot recommend Maui Surfer Girls enough! I was really nervous about my 11 year old son going out for his first surfing lesson, but seeing how attentive Kelly was with him, eased those fears.  She made sure he was safe, encouraged and supported him, and in the end he had such an awesome experience.
