About UsThe MSG Mission:Maui Surfer Girls provides our students and campers with a safe and fun environment to gain both technical skills and self-confidence through the sport of surfing and other educational opportunities.WHO WE ARE:Maui Surfer Girls, a.k.a. “MSG”, is a strong community on Maui of water women with a common mission: to share the stoke of surfing with their students. It doesn’t matter if you’re from Nebraska and have never seen the ocean, or a cold water charger from Santa Cruz looking for a warm water surf trip, Maui Surfer Girls has a variety of surf camp programs to chose from. MSG also offers year-round surf lessons on Maui’s west shore.We are truly more than your typical surf camp and surf school! Our programs are designed to bridge outdoor education with personal development. When our campers walk away from their MSG experience, they’ve gained much more than surfing skills, they’ve gained self-confidence and a lifetime of mentors and friendships! With campers coming to MSG from diverse, worldly backgrounds, our campers learn from each other lessons in compassion and acceptance of each other’s differences. It is no surprise that MSG has received national recognition as “one of the best surf schools for women” in the San Francisco Chronicle. We are proud to have been mentioned in TIME, Teen People, and Seventeen Magazines.
