Maui Surfer Girls provides adolescent girls from the ages of 12-17 with a safe and fun environment to gain both technical skills and self confidence through the sport of surfing and other educational opportunities.
We strongly believe that with healthy role models, young women can be their best and achieve their goals. The mentorship element of our program provides the girls with one-on-one opportunities to bond with the camp instructors. This way the girls will receive more individual attention and feel at home and welcomed at camp. They will be there for the girls as a friend, surf coach, and role model.
With this personalized approach, the girls will feel at home at camp and thus set the tone for a comfortable and fulfilling camp experience.
Our focus is to teach adolescent girls how to surf through a sequential teaching program that is designed to cater to the needs and skills of each camper.
While surfing is our main camp activity, we also offer eclectic activities to help build a competent and confident camper.
Immersed in the magical Maui setting, where our campers skillfully navigates on her surfboard or hikes the wilds of the West Maui Mountains, she will gain confidence in her personal strengths and abilities. With this experience, she will become more adept in facing the challenges in her everyday life.
